i stopped buying at series 11...i might eventually pick them up again, but i've been less than impressed with the quality too.

hmm, interesting.
I would be interested in seeing pics of the crappy paint jobs. My thoughts were that the designs in the more recent series have been a little more detailed that those previous. Maybe with that, the application of the color has QC issues they haven't caught up with yet???

Still buying them as well, though I am pretty frustrated about the lack of quality when it comes to newer releases... I really hope they will change this trend!
