 SB colourways.
With all the Secreter Skullbrain searching and buying at the moment I sort of realised that maybe the SBase colourways are looking a little stale?
Seems so many of the recent releases are pretty cut and dried colourways. Many have been red, black and white. And simple applications of those colours at that.
Just looking about at the older SBase toys, there have been some far out colours used and some intense applications of colour. The multi-coloured Secreter Brains are a prime example. I think it's been lacking since the Hidden Boss maybe.
Could be wrong. Just putting it out there.

Rainy days are clear BLUE

Right on again Mori!!
Secret base figures have been looking rushed to production lately. Lacking inovative design and color application compaired to the earlier work.
And Secret base has a lot more competition now. Its not a time to let anything out the door that is less than spectacular!!!!!!!!!!! I think SB should be topping everything that came before in order to stay in front.
So the writing is on the wall.......Will he heed?

I wouldn't mind some more colors and sprays.
A two-tone headed GF? Or a clear GF with blood Spray? Fantastic!
But I do like the V-day ones quite a bit myself.

I love both vday ghostfighters and the new white and green one is probably my favorite of all time. The recent atmos sets were weird but I still like them. The flocked skullwing is great.
I think they are still doing good work.

I'm kinda new to SB, but, if they can do a 2-color head on a Skull Bee, wouldn't it be(e) sweet to have a GF with a split color on the two heads (with blood splatter, of course!)...
Is is possible to swirl the clear and opaque vinyl? That would be stunning, I think...
The clear colors are what trips my trigger...damn, that's some good sh*t!

One that's been bothering me is the Devilock Skull Bee I have, I really like the pink suit but the split head doesn't do as much for me as the clear and paint splits do and the chest where it is the same color as the suit bothers me to, I'm not sure if any of the other Skull bees are like that.

You see this effect a lot in rotationally molded kayaks, so my guess is that it is entirely possible. Come to think of it, I now recall a figure shaped like the Cool-Aid mascot that was molded with random colors which swirled around...

I asked the factory about this a while back, and they can't. Only the first couple come out good, and then they turn into mush, no longer swirled, as not all the vinyl comes out correctly.
Your kayak is almost guaranteed to be injection molded, but in a mold big enough that the materials swirls as it is injected in. Just guessing there, I am sure they have to guarantee a minimum wall thickness that is standard across the entire surface. I am sure both sides are finished as well.
