That's great! I love posts like these.
It always amazes me that there aren't more posts like this and makes me think that for the most part, people are really hesitant to mess with their toys for fear of fucking them up. I've always enjoyed the pictures that NERD ONE posts on his blog - all sorts of new mash-ups. Some of which, like yours Purple Walrus, seem to work really well.
