I just found out that Inspire is coming out with a new version of Nova, it's called the Halloween version, orange of course.. I think the last one was red. You can seek out Hypermook's collection photos to see one. The Halloween version is going to be only limited to fifty. I think Nova is from Ultraman Taro or Leo?? Not sure which.

I kind of like it, although I'm not at all familiar with the character. This one reminds me of those cheap Halloween decorations where the character's head is attached to a plastic bag that blows in the wind.

So, does anyone know what Inspire's Nova / Norba looks like nekkid? I'm really wondering what's under that garb and if there's any paint under there. I'm super curious.

I have the normal red/black version...under the cape is mostly just a hazy clear figure...the Inspire stuff is very nice but definitely more of a spot-on reproduction, much less abstract than say Bearmodel's version.

Hey z -- Could you take / post a pic of an upskirt (heh) of the red Nova for me. please? I'd like to compare it to the Halloween and see what you mean by 'hazy.' I'm really curious.

When it first went up on KT, I went back and forth in my head on whether or not I should get it. I was wondering how tall it would look, how the cloth and other non-vinyl elements would work and if they would look good. All of my inhibitions went away when I got him today. I am glad I took the plunge and decided to get him afterall because he's an incredible hand-made toy which seems to have a lot of love put into it. A truly unique and beautiful piece -- I can't stop looking at him.

I will if I come across him...I'm not sure which box he's in right now.

The Halloween is all orange except for the feet which are sprayed black up to about the ankle area.

Haha -- Yea, he has feet under there. I guess they chose to give them a little bit of paint for those who decided to see what was hiding.
