My guess is upwords of 10-20..
it doesent seem unlikely people interested in 2-d design would also be interested in 3-d design.
the real question is how many of us do print work and how many focus on the internet.

Print work here.
I personally hate any type of coding, even html. With that being said, I've been making stupid little sites (even using old school free hosting providers like Tripod and Hypermart) for probably 7+ years. I'm currently working on a Bwana x Gargamel site for a project, my personal portfolio site, as well as a site for my girlfriend's mom and dad's business.
I'm starting to pick up on some CSS and Java, but coding really just bores the hell out of me. I like the things it can do, it's just that I don't have the patience nor desire to learn.

I'm 100% print.
As I have nearly 0% percent knowledge of web, I'm embarrassed to say. I would like to learn, just never had to, so it's hard to find the motivation.

High School student, sucks so much.
I'd really like to be a graphic designer though, but i'm kind of trying to be prudent with my career choice. From what I understand, Freelancers make more money then the designers who are working as employees for companies. My only problem is if I decide to go freelance, how will I get health insurance?
Someone, please care to elaborate on this?

dude, worry less about your career right now and enjoy high school cause you will have plenty of time to think about the rest of your life later.
