I'm at home away from my list and can't remember his name...but it's Bear Model and (unfortunately) not for sale. I gotta ship him back to Japan in a month...gonna miss him, the rest of the Bear Model, CCP and Dream Rockets stuff. Sniff.

Kirby, are you guys planning on carrying more JP vinyl in the future as a result of this show? It seems you have a pretty big interest in it yourself.

Most definitely. I'm hooked.

That being said, we'll never be able to match or even touch S7....they're the reason, IMHO, that anyone in the US even knows what half this stuff is. Also, big ups to Mark Nagata and Max Toy Company for giving our kaiju dreams a kickstart.

Thanks Rotofugi for a great show! Great to hear that you will be carrying more Japanese vinyl, I'll definitely be throwing more of my paychecks your way!

It was great to actually meet some Skullbrainers face to face (toybotstudios, the_z, tavaro, taro, jermy, etc.), and I hope that there will be more shows here in Chicago to meet more of you.

What made it even more interesting was the pieces included in the show: an unpainted Gabari and a Balbagon that I did not recognize.

What a Great Show!!

I would like to thank and congratulate Kirby and Whitney for throwing one of the best shows I have been to. The customs were really breathtaking, and the turnout was hudge. Thanks for letting me catch a sneak peak at the show and letting us help set up, even putting up w/ my drunken antics from around 4am-6am. man, what a good time. The wait was long, but well worth it!

Also, great to meet so many collectors and skullbrainers, finally got to put a face to so many names. So many positive vibes and great people. Hope to see everyone again very soon.

Heres to Rotofugi, I hope to make many, many more trips to chicago! you guys made my month!
