Really? I hated it. Now there's about 20 more things on the "List",
mo' money, mo' money, mo' money. Think my toys will look good displayed in a refrigerator box under the bridge?

NO KIDDING!

The definitive best issue of S7 so far - design and layout are highly pleasing, photography is superb, and the amount of avarice it generated should be illegal!

If I had the money, I would give that magazine as a handbook to my personal shoppers and send them out with instructions not to return until every item was mine!

Just got mine yesterday and got a chance to pore over it. Stuff I liked: Justin and Brian's editorials, this month's Garbage Digger, and the Blobpus, Jet Jaguar, and Bullmark Sparker articles. I also liked the new types of content you've added like the reviews and the photo-essay.

Regarding the change in design, I found the type a bit hard to read. You definitely have enough white space to expand into if you chose to make it larger.

Looking forward to the next ish and that Jet Jaguar exclusive!

Man! All this hype about the mag! I could no longer resist and finally got onto the subscription list as well.

Can't wait for it to arrive!

I do have a question about the Blobus article. It seemed like it may not be totally comprehensive. I think I've seen one or two versions around (not customs ) that weren't on there. Is that right or have I likely seen some other custom jobs?

Mori-
What's the story on the typhoon? You don't have any of your people up on the coast there do you? Sounds nasty...

I don't know of anyone that I know who is up that way. Some friends were up there a little while back, but home now. I'm way directly south of that area - right down the bottom of the mainland of Oz.
It is looking pretty dicey up there though. Not sure it was expected to be that ferocious. The news services in my area mentioned the typhoon, but not the severity. We occaisionally get massive typhoons/cyclones hit the northern parts of Oz.
Cyclone Tracey was the worst I know of. Pretty much levelled Darwin one Christmas Eve early 80's.

My wife's stepmom has family up north, but further east I think. We'll find out news from them soon enough, I imagine. The news report I read made it sound almost "Katrine-esque".

There has been a bit of devastation up there for sure. Many houses been damaged and hefty clean up bill already.
Definitely not Katrina, but for us it is pretty severe. Oz manages to miss a lot of heavy damage by cyclones etc.
Sounds like it has intensified a little again this morning.
