more properly, I should use the word 'fey', or perhaps 'twee' but those are not really in popular use in its 'old fashioned' meaning.
but it's cool, Loco feels like he was able to 'morally dominate' me, so I am happy for him to have his little power trip.

I don't think you should paint that vintage figure, even though it is a bootleg. For the love of god, let it leave in peace. It's like taking a showroom condition classic vintage car and rat rodding it.

As the Scorpion said to the frog 'it's in my nature'
from now on I will use the word FEY as defined in section 3b below
Main Entry: fey
Pronunciation: 'fA
Function: adjective
Etymology: Middle English feye, from Old English f[AE]ge; akin to Old High German feigi doomed and perhaps to Old English fAh hostile, outlawed -- more at FOE
1 a chiefly Scottish : fated to die : DOOMED b : marked by a foreboding of death or calamity
2 a : able to see into the future : VISIONARY b : marked by an otherworldly air or attitude c : CRAZY, TOUCHED
3 a : excessively refined : PRECIOUS b : quaintly unconventional : CAMPY

I am the sort of person that buys a brand new car or truck, then immediately replaces half the parts.
its a sickness.
drives my girlfriend insane...but then she's usually happy with the results.
I have the fastest 350z in town. lol.

that's cool - you're customizing it, making it your own. That's the American tradition. But a still sealed vintage kaiju?!? There are limits, dude.

I'm confused.
So "fey" is a substitute for "gay"?
So gay people are "doomed" or "excessively refined" or "quaintly unconventional"?
Just reading the definition.

one must be careful though - I used it in a client presentation a coupla years ago and afterwards our sales guy was freaking out and informed me that the client is actually gay. But I have no idea if the client was offended or not. But I had used gay meaning something was not good, so he could have been. Since then I just don't use the term in that way but alot of people do. I know what frank means when he says it - cause a lot of people use it that way - so I don't have a problem.
but thats me.

so u can all relax. I dont really hate anyone, unless they have proven to be total fucking asshats in my real life. I think im a relatively upfront and honest person, hell i don't even use a fake name on the internet.
If anyone has a 'real problem' with me, I'm always happy to work it out in person.
Not hating anyone, being up front and honest etc...doesn't justify your use of "gay"
in your comments as a means of being "funny", it's not. It comes across in a demeaning manner and is offensive by trying to get laughs at the expense of someone and or their sexual preference. It's simply a matter of being respectful and conscious of what you are saying in any given environment.

maybe thats why new dolls are now being called art objects . who knows ? really can see this argument going around in circles forever so why not just stop . as for the spectreman , it looks more like a poly than a vinyl so it might be kinda interesting to see how you paint it .

no, you misunderstoood. In the future when I poke fun at my paint jobs I will use the word FEY (meaning 3b) , when referring to my paint jobs or whatever.
nothing to do with 'Gay' as a sexual preference or whatever the clinically correct term is.

or black and metallic blues...
whats a 'poly'. is it greasy feeling cheaper plastic?

It is a poly which means most paints will not stick to it.

For all of you who have a problem with the use of "gay," I hope you remain consistent when it comes to the word "retarded":
