I used them a few times. Celga and Rinkya are a little cheaper, but m-world does have some contacts that others don't.

A few people from another forum I visit use Masato's World Service for anime statues. They are all very happy with the services provided. For example, the guy who owns berserkstatues.com got almost all of his statues (a TON of statues) through Masato.

I've never actually purchased anything through them, but I did talk to someone once about helping me find some things. they're buy from ANY website, which is cool, and they were very nice.

that would be normal for a bidding service, yes. but they also separately advertise an item location service, through what i assume is just a network of contacts in shops, the point of which is *specifically* for them to do all the work for me.

no I think the point of that is for you to find the items at shops on the internet and then send them the info, like for example if you found something on a Japanese site that was for sale but they don't ship outside of Japan or if you found something on a Japanese site but the people couldn't speak English the service could help you out, but that is just my take on things!!!!!! I have always mainly found everything that I have bought on my own so I don't expect people to do find toys for me, but like I said that is just me and that is what makes finding toys so fun and exciting when you find something rare all on your own, sometimes it takes time though!!!!! when I was collecting SB hardcore I was checking YJA everyday same with RxH and Blobpus!!!!!!!! One thing that I thought was funny, last Halloween was when a bunch of the older Pumpkinhead's were showing up on YJA, I think it also had to do with Super 7's Halloween release and the big US bumpup in the market!!!!! maybe next Halloween you will see more!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like some people are looking for a personal shopper service, but a huge amount of the fun for me is the thrill of the chase.... for Japanese stuff that is, don't have much fun chasing after stuff everyone is after at exactly the same thing.

from their website:

"We can search items you are looking for.
We have a large network in Japan.
If you are looking for something, please let us know the details!"

if you are asking someone to look in shops for SB, they will not find it other than at mandarake or the nakano mall. The "vintage" shops do not carry this kind of stuff.
