Wow, great shots! What I liked most was seeing kids in the line, whether or not these type of collectable figures are for kids or not doesn't matter. I'd take my little brother with, even if he didn't have the money for one he'd love the wait and the line and just LOOKING at all the toys. Great shots!

Those yellow protos rock, hope we get some yellow Mutants in the future! I like the little case they're in, I gotta get something like that. I find deltofs intrusive and big, I want something with 3-4 levels that can fit on my dresser or I can drill holes in the back and secure it to my wall. It's neat.

Again, thanks for the pics. I'll be staring all day :P

Try the containter store. I know it sounds crazy, but they have super high-quality cases there.

I'll scope it out. Deltofs just aren't for me, but I'd like some dust protection. Thanks.

No man! Of course that's not what I mean!

But the idea of taking kids to a TOYSHOP & saying:
"Hey Jr.! Look how cool this is! But guess what? YOU CAN'T HAVE IT!"
makes me lol.

Oh yeah, I guess. But that's not really the attitude I meant. Like my little brother, 8 years old, sure if he had the kind of money to spend on these (even retail in Japan, what like about $40 USD?) I doubt he'd WANT to. But he could still appreciate them, like looking at them. He looks at my crap all the time, but than goes and plays with his $5 Star Wars or Ben 10 toys. It's not really even about how "rare" they are, but just the base cost. He'd rather buy 10 toys from Toys R Us than a RxH figure, or a video game. But he still loves to look.

I know if I went to get some of these, like the situation in the pics, he'd LOVE to go, even though he knows he couldn't buy them. Just the whole waiting in line, and looking at cool stuff experience. I know he'd dig it, and than we'd probably go to Toys R Us so he could buy some toys too. I've taken him to comic conventions, he knows he can't afford buying half the crap there. He's happy to look and be a part of it. That's what I meant kinda.

But who said he couldn't have it? I would buy my son a kaiju if he really wanted one. If it's not for sale then it be cool to show it to him cause then neither one of you could buy it anyway. :D

all them unpainted colorways are unreal... I'm not big on RxH but I certainly do love me some unpainted figs and those I think show off the sculpts better than the fancy pain tjobs. Clear Pink Chaos??? Wow!

RxH is just made for green metallic paint ...

The green metallic Bigaroid is great, and this greenmetal Chaos could become (once I see it in its vinyl flesh) one of my favorite few Chaos paints.

And, the yellow unpaints are still awfully good-looking here. Generally I prefer painted, but that bright color shows off the sculpts well.

So, seeing those bags, did they do tickets there at JunkSpot for the chase Chaoses, or did some bags have 3 figs and some have 4? I know S7 is doing tickets, but wondered if that same thing happened at JunkSpot. If it was some 3-bags and some 4-bags, how did they handle the 'draw'?

And, I STILL would kill-or-die for a RxH apron (though maybe not this one with flowers and lucky cats all over it). I actually wear a carpenter's apron when I work in the woodshop, so I'm even used to 'em.

Speaking of which. a recent RxH piece inspired me to build a little Palladian-style ... ummm ... stand/ruin/display thing/mini-structure for a small display, from a very nice piece of black walnut I had hanging around. Should be finished soon, I'll post a pic whenever I finally get it done, shellacked and glued up.

Thanks (as always) for the great pics, D! These gave a real sense of being there. Is there a story behind the Bigaroid and Cat paper-dolls?

I'll tell you what, those pics really made me appreciate unpainted a lot more. I used to be kind of bored by them, but seeing a full crew of unpainted really rocks. I was honestly on the verge of selling a few unpainted figures, but that photo totally inspired me. I mean I love painted figs, but now unpainted sits on the same level. When the unpainted crew is in an army like that it's a killer look.
