perhaps they misunderstood your question because i was able to sucessfully order 8 of these wholesale from strangeco's website....i don't see why they would be taking orders for something they are not gonna carry. i also ordered GIDs and the yellow ones....anybody looking for....something....pm me

Makes perfect sense. If I'm not mistaken, Max Toy Co. is a San Francisco based company. I was wondering for the longest time why the other Eyezon thread was in the JP toys section.

While we're on this topic, does it matter where the toy is made? I would think where the company is based and who is designing the toys would determine whether it should be in American Idols or Japan Toys. If, for some reason, someone wanted to post about Bandai, I would suspect that post belongs in Japan Toys because Bandai is a Japanese company whose toys are designed in Japan. The fact that they are made in China seems irrelevant.

no, i totally agree. i said so in the first post. i wasn't sure because my instinct was to put it in american but the previous thread about eyezone had been in japan toys so that's where i put this even tho it felt wrong, thanks pogue!

.I think a toy needs to be made in japan or be a classic japanese toy (godzilla, hedorah, ect.) to be in the Japan Toy section. There are lots of variations and exceptions but I think in this case it is fairly clear.

when i talked to mark about this toy he said its basically made up from a lot of different japanese kaiju . look and you can see some jamila and takkong . even M-1 has had some stuff made in china and i would consider those toys japanese .the eyezon is my favorite max toy figure and would have bought one at SDCC but it was sold out .

Are you still missing one? Both of the versions released so far are for sale on the MaxToy store.

i think strangeco distribution will allow shops that don't usually carry kaiju to bring in some great pieces and introduce it to a new audience. that's the case for me and i'm looking forward to see how these do with my customers - not sure many of them really know what kaiju is or looks like....

I just ordered them for myself and my store. I have them up for preorder now. It is definately my favorite of the three versions so far.

does anybody have any more info on the blue eyezone with the red eyes that came out not too long ago??
