I found an appreciation for unpainted figs when I gave my first skullbee an acetone bath. Eversince then, I've found a real appreciation for unpainted figures. Sort of like plastic castings of figures of soldiers or superheroes from the 70s in that hard plastic. Minimalistic and clean with nothing but naked lines.

Thanks for the photos of the collection. Seeing all those pieces together in one place is amazing. This makes me kick myself for only focusing on SB when I first started collecting J-vinyl I want an Oni!!!!!

Looks like it was a well attended event. I hope Mori was happy about it.
SO - looking at the one pic, folks walked in PICKED out their own bags and paid for them? Kinda unfair as they could feel the fourth figure through the cloth bag right? Or was there someone from the store there telling them - you touch the bag you buy the bag?

I was wondering if it was tickets. Like a ticket in the bag (smalle enough not to see) than who ever got those tix got toys.

i think there's a ticket inside (not an extra figure) to redeem the chase

That would make sense but I don't see any "extra" special Choas on that display cart. Those are all the special release chaosmans - red chests. That was why I made that observation.

There is only one antidote. It's called bankruptcy.

Nice pics! Thanks for keeping us informed! I am with Lamour, there is something about unpainted toys that I dig! I like the little shop too, it has a cool vibe to it.

Love that 'Biga-Jinja,' too. When the painted Jinja arrived I was doing the same thing, swapping out his head, arms, torso ... and that's a good pairing. I'd assume we'll see some similar configurations from Mori sooner or later ...

Nope - no production done of that one. Only other production one to get the "armor" was the Orange Chaosman/Gray head.

That's Oni Head. There was a recent clear blue one released at the RxH expo but I think the released one had some paint on it though.
