The high Canadian dollar is not a good thing for Canada. Sure it makes toy cheaper but who can afford toys with no jobs. Canada is an export country that depends on the US. I hope the dollar drops quickly.

Get sick in New Orleans and wait at the hospital 24 hours and still not get to see a doctor.
There are stories of patients waiting in ambulances outside the hospital for a long, long time because there is no room inside.
Then, of course, the ambulances can't go pick up anyone else...
And, if you have a mental health problem, just forget about it...last count there were 9 beds in the whole city.

The impact on the border traffic has been crazy up here this summer as the loonie climbed and climbed in value. Takes well over an hour on a weekday morning to get back into the US. Weekends- forget it. Two and a half, three hours.
