I had this the other day and this Korean joint I went to. kicked ass. that sauce is magical!
I was munching on the bulgogi beef a lot more though. and the side dishes were good and plentiful. the korean folks know how to party. I will be back there again.

I used to love going to Seoul House at J-Town. The dominatrix waitresses don't like it when you turn the meat on the grill (built into the table) over on your own. It's worth going just to get the scowls and attitude. The food is delicious, and yeah, really dig all those blobby gooey side dishes.

So...along those lines I'm am throwing in 2 filipino dishes: kare-karesizzling sisigKare Kare is actually a favorite of mine. I think you're talking about the condiment that goes with it which is bago-ong. Kare kare is actually not nearly as gross as another Philipino dish of ours like Dinugoan. I wont go into whats init The other stuff you mention I havn't tried. I'll toss in the Irish or is it Scottish delicasy Haggis..
There's a lot of gross stuff that filipinos eat with interesting nicknames like: Adidas, Helmet, Betamax (I believe these are all from chicken...at least the first 2 are from chicken)...and don't forget balut (no...I don't eat balut). The part of the Kare Kare that I was referring to is what most filipinos will call "tuwalya." The translation for that in english it "towel" and it refers to the tripe in Kare Kare. Some Kare Kare will also have intestines but I haven't been to a place in the US that serves it
In case someone is wondering about Dinuguan...it's...ummm...too rich for my blood...heheheh
Hey Frank...are you refering to Brother's on Geary? That place is always packed.

I like those little freeze dried shrimp and eggs in the Cup-O-Noodles.
Do any of you remember a show called Travel Sick? (same show, same host was running in the UK but I can't recall his name) At the end, sometimes he would have to eat or drink a local creation (and would usually puke) Now that was truly gross.

So I decided to drive down to Daly City and try Jollibee's today. My burger steak with gravy was ok... but my wife really liked the spicy fried chicken. The peach mango pie was pretty tasty.
