They're actually orange, I suck at pics. Most pics I see of the orange on them don't come out great though, in person they're SO MUCH MORE vibrant it's nuts. Like crazy creamsicles.

I think you mean Nue, second pic down right behind the glows? My wife makes fun of that one, says it looks like a retarded dragon.
It's actually my fav. sculpt, something comes back from my childhood from it, I think those lamb dolls with hard plastic faces but plush bodies?

From Wikipedia:
'A nue (?) is a legendary creature found in Japanese folklore. It has the head of a monkey, the body of a raccoon dog, the legs of a tiger, and a snake instead of a tail. A nue can also transform into a black cloud and fly around. Due to its appearance, it is sometimes referred to as a Japanese chimera.
Nue are bringers of misfortune and illness. According to The Tale of the Heike, the Emperor of Japan became sick after a nue took up residence atop his palace in the summer of 1153. After the samurai Minamoto no Yorimasa killed the creature, the emperor recovered.'

very nice setup!!! awesome.
...retarded came to my mind first too -
makes me litte sad when looking at it
but think its the best of the new ones too.
especially i like the black stripes making it look like a wild animal.
yeah those glossy slick inside parts of the face make a great
contradiction to the rough structure of the main parts of this fig -
fascinating figure - pretty cool.
still didnt really get orange and clear blue colorway
but maybe next color will make em look great altogeter.

Yeah the Nue's facial sculpt just captivated me, I never really took much interest in Anraku until that one hit, and I had to have one. After I had it in hand it all kinda went from there. I love blue and orange together, one of my fav. color combos so the 2 sets of 3 in these colors really works for me. I am from Chicago though, maybe some sort of genetic Bears fan thing in me MAKES me love orange and blue. decypher wrote: You really have been busy BD! Nice collection.
Yeah and I'm still not satisfied BUT I'M extremely grateful for all the help I've had. I'll try to get better pics soon once I get a nice set up, got no room right now! Pics still do these things no justice, they're just so much better 3D and in hand.
