Here they are in the flesh, so to speak, just arrived (Also - for the first time, one of these, the claw, came with an instruction sheet so, i'm uploading it here, hoping that someone might hopefully translate it and relay to us all what the instructions say (i would be mighty grateful):
and perhaps most disappointing of all....the thorn guy 's upper left (yours) hand thorn was already broken off in the bag when i got it. For $150 i think this toy shouldn't break for at least 100 years. This was rather upsetting to me and i was wondering who i should contact about it? kaiju-taro? or rainbow themselves? i glued
it on temporarily with some cheap glue.....what is the best thing to use?

wow, they look sick. your rainbow shelf is brutal...so the green guy's pointy hand broke off you say? I'd definitely let KT know about it since I doubt they send out broken stuff...

Was the hand "broken" off - or did it come unglued at an obvious connection point? If the latter, and you can glue it without any noticeable effects, I would just leave it. I have had 3 or 4 toys come from overseas where certain parts that were meant to be permanently attached come "loose". As long as you can repair it easily and so that you can't tell it has been repaired (like mine have - loose antennae, etc.), don't sweat it, IMO. If it is cracked, or actually broken not at a joint, just contact KT and i am sure that they will replace it.

Liquidsky, where are those Ikageruge pics from? Very tantalizing post! Are there any other Barom 1 demons listed? Release dates? Thanks for the tease!

Thanks, Taro! Looks like the white version will be the THN exclusive to be released in January. And look at the pre-order price, 7245 yen. Great news to see this demon getting a Rainbow release.

Also, though not as exciting, an Urokorgue (Fish Scales Ruge) is also in the wings:

Beautiful! Definitely more exciting than the dragonfly nymph demon, or the mole cricket demon. I love bizarro kaiju like this fish scale demon. Thanks for the links & pics, guys!

Yesss more great Rainbow! That Ikageruge is awesome i prefer the black one.
So for you knowledgeable guys out there, will this rainbow line end eventually and they'll start a new series ? I like the idea of having a whole shelf of these guys but for it to end eventually so i can complete the set.

There's only so many barom-1 villians, so...
I really love these vinyls. If you look at the actual costumes these are based on, they're pretty spot-on. At the same time, they have an unreal funkiness about them.

Well they've already done some kamen rider characters...like the dude in the giant head from kr amazon I think? Also the Sangiman and some others...so I'm guessing they probably won't close up shop when they are done with Barom1.

I was just lurking around Kaiju-Taro and it says that the Neck Demon is a THN exclusive, but they are selling it on K-T, so maybe they'll get the white squid dude, too.

You have to be a member of Toei Hero Net to order the THN figures. Its $75 or so and you must live in Japan.

Thanks for the responses guys.....and it wasn't the pointy hand, but the small thorn on the figures upper right. it was just loose jiggling around in the bag. as i said, i glued it back on and you cant tell....dont eventhink anyone would know even if they examined it very very closely. guess i'll just keep it the way is but still, when yr chrging $150 for a brand new toy you expect it to be better made, i think.

Yeah I don't know? Unifive already did pretty much all the kamen dudes from the first series in a couple different sizes (though smaller than the originals).

Replace it with what? It's not like they have a stack of those in the back.

Also alot of companies just sell as is and rarely take returns.
You would open yourself up to alot of "I opened the bag and the color wasn't what i really expected" or buyers attempting to return toys after unsuccessfully trying to take off their helmets etc
I think in two weeks you'll have completely forgotten about it. That's what's happened with me when I bought something that had a scratch or nick or something.

I just got one from KT - visually it is astonishing...but a bit flimsy. I didn't expect it to be so...thin You have to position the feet just right or it will topple over. Small feet, strange center of gravity. Nonetheless, it looks fucking amazing and I'm a bit worried that I need all the Barom 1 stuff now. Shit, I think I need to start taking drugs again. Much cheaper than vinyl
