yeah, the balancing act on the thorn guy is kind of annoying too....he just barely stands, it takes a while to get those feet right and putting him in the detolf is a disaster waiting to happen becasue of the magnet sticking problem. but he does stand, thank god......nothing else in the whole world pisses me off like a toy that doesn't stand on its own!

I'm surprised that these new ones seem cheaply made as I finally got my Kinokeruge today and it's amazing! Solid, thick vinyl...and instantly jumps to the top of my favorite toy list right now...
This sucker is amazing...as are others that are coming up. I thnk I can hold off of trying to get the whole set...as some make me feel as creeped out as I used to get as a child with monsters and such...but the Mushroom Demon is ridiculous...I LOVE IT!!!
'twas a chunk of change though...but worth it...

man....I've avoided these 'cause of the cost but the recent releases are making me rethink not buying them. That fish-scale fig that's coming out is awesome! Ah, another thing to add to the collection plate

Just received the 3 new guys and wanted to chime in. The thorn demon has what appears to be vinyl "plugs" on the bottom of its feet which makes it difficult to stand. I had to lean mine on its neighbor. The claw demon doesn't feel as thick as the others, but stands just fine on its own The neck demon is solid and just may be my favorite of the 3. Here they are with their buddies:

I meant to include this in my last post, the "plugs" on the bottom of thorn demon's feet:

Booschwobe, you need to post more pictures of the rest of your collection.
Looks interesting...

Thanks guys. Here are some pics from a few weeks ago:
My hobby room is too small to catch in one snapshot. I'm a little embarrassed about the shelving set-up. It's mutated over the years and I still need to prime a couple of sections. I've also got my game systems and a small fridge set up for when I need to hide from the wife and kids.

Nah, I'm one of the fools that dished out bucks for a PS3. I have too many PSX & PS2 games that I still love to play and I can save them onto the PS3 system. I'm revisiting the Silent Hill series this month in celebration of Halloween. I've never played any of the Halo games. They must be pretty cool 'cause gamers go nuts for them!

amazing collection! i love the glow bailkin and glow big eye.
Incredible rainbow collection in particular - I'm lusting after the blue hand demon variant.
And i have to agree that the 3 new Rainbows are incredible (neck demon, claw demon and thorn demon). My thorn demon balances pretty well and now that i see it in person it's a pretty decent engineering feat to get that thing to balance - rainbow obviously puts a lot of care into these pieces. I wasn't crazy about the neck demon at the pre-order stage but now that I've got him, i think he's one of the best figures rainbow has done - right up there with hand demon and thorn demon.

The more I look at it I realize the neck demon is also one of my favorite Rainbow dudes. What I really like about Rainbow this year is that they have consistently released nice figures and have met every release date so far. I wish I could say the same for Marmit. The mole cricket and octopus demons are due the end of November and I have faith that those who want them will have them in hand the first week of December. Now I'm completely obsessed with having the fish scales demon.

These look great, but I'm still hoping for reissues of the original figures. I love the goofy looking vintage Doruge.

Sooo many awesome toys.
One question -- Who is the GID green guy next to GID Eleking?

The guy next to glow Eleking is a B-Club reissue glow Marruchi. A very nice figure, these still show up on YJ. It was just released a few months ago. Mike just posted pics at www.clubtokyo.org

That's funny, I was just browsing through Club Tokyo's M1 section. Thanks for the heads up -- Much appreciated.

A collection like that is more than awe-inspiring. Should be on the National Registry of Historic Places!
