 Shelf Update
When I first joined this forum back in June, my vinyl collection only took up one of my long shelves, but now it takes up two of my shelves. Good thing? I think so.
I'm no completist by any stretch of the imagination, I just buy what I like. A little bit of this and a little bit of that. I like the jumble of different characters and companies.
Sorry these aren't the greatest pics, but the Blue Angels keep screaming over my house, setting off every fucking car alarm in the neighborhood and making me quite nervous (= distracted photo shoot)....
Thanks to the many board members for the many hook-ups!
Here's the pics---
All of it:
Cell A:
Cell B:
Cell C:
Cell D:
Cell E:
Cell F:
Cell G:
Cell H:
And some current faves ('cause they're new!):

Is that Brain Joe a custom?
I like your mix- a little bit of everything. Extra points for the ample mecha content.

Man, I could stare at those shelves for a while. I love the setup and the themes (horns, Matangos, Hedorahs) you have going on. I'm happy to see another Cool Zone fan -- Did you pick up the recent clear orange Octopus Kid and Brain Joe?
I see quite a few toys I would love to have -- The Gargantua fellas, Parababy Guiron (it is a Parababy, right? Who's that guy with the look of shock behind him?), and I'm not a fan of Angilas at all, but the M1 rainbow-GID version has always intrigued me.
Killer collection and display.

Nice work! I never really considered the Galtans until now. They look really kick ass in your display.

Not a custom, it's the Winter Wonder Festival '07 'Secret' Version.

That Guiron is a Marusan.
That shocked guy is a Marmit Gesura.

hyper, you should get the GID Matango on trike. I was going to pick it up but went for Godzilla cause I really wanted a GID Godzilla. Awesome collection...with mecha too.

Brand new piece by Denboku. Love it. After seeing that Tezuka show (as you did as well) it was a no-brainer.

I can't be sure, but I think he meant the Mantra by Jim Woodring. Great looking collection, but that Mantra caught my eye for sure. And Tron figures? Are you kidding me? Who makes those? They're awesome!

Whooops! My bad, you're right... I got that Mantra at Mandarake in Shibuya for like 13 bucks!
Those Tron figures were made by Medicom.

I love the flow of your collection man, you've bought what you love the look of and gone a bit deeper on figures you're really into (matango/hedorah/ultraman groups). It all comes together really well - congrats

Looking at that first picture makes me feel like I've just entered a really cool Japanese toy store. Really fun looking set up.
