if anything,,they will probably just send it back to you...
why is foreign currency so hard to get in the states???
you should contact citibank,,i am sure that they can get you yen without much hassle..
it makes sense that most companies in japan do not use paypal,,since paypal is basically the same company as ebay & there is no ebay japan.. I had a shit load of Swiss currency, before the Euro obviously, and I couldn't get my bank to exchange it for me. I was told it costs the bank too much to hold onto foreign currency and it doesn't get used enough so then it just sits. Looks like I’ll be cashing in my returned money order and then hitting the airport to get yen….this is a pickle. Maybe he’ll change his mind about the Money order. But the Post office website says it will not send the money in anything but US currency…
good news my man,,,
switzerland is not part of the EU,,,they never changed to euros (along with the UK, sweden, norway and denmark,,,who are part of the EU but not the currency)....
so,,,go to the airport,,,and change your swiss francs for japanese yen...and get that exohead MM!!!!
i still do not understand why it is so difficult to get foreign currency in the US...i guess it is the size of the country??
within walking distance from my work,,i can get yen,,US dollars,,HK dollars,,brasilian reais,,moroccan dirhams,,,polish zlotych,,anything

I should have known that.
I remember listening to the BBC tallking about their reservations to switching the Euro currency. Good news!
I think you are right about the size of the country vs. having foreign funds on hand. But then I would also expect major metropolitan cities like New York to have it pretty available.

When I went to the (huge) Chase bank in Times Square they only had 10,000 yen bills because someone had supposedly bought a bunch of Yen that day and took all the smaller bills. Mind you, this is the central location in Manhattan for exchanging foreign currencies! I searched for over an hour before I found a small (rip-off) exchange booth with smaller bills. In what is supposedly the center of the modern world.
I came back from a tour in EU last year and had to exchange loads of british pounds....my own fucking bank wouldn't even take them. Maybe it's better on the west coast but 15 years ago I never had issues like this with exchanging bills. Go figure.

 Garimpo.
Got a mail for Garimpo. The have already received my registered mail. I've send out the money in cash & they are able to return the balance in us currency. Sweet.
Can't wait for the end of this month, they've confirmed shipping is on the end of sept.

I slept way too long on this (school finals / portfolio crap was not fun at all), so if anyone can hook me up with their extra, I would greatly, greatly appreciate. You would be handsomely rewarded with some extra dough for your troubles and consideration. Any help is appreciated.

I slept on this...and am kicking myself more each day.
I've begged in wanted but no one is giving up the goods...
and that ebay price appears to be just gearing up to explode now...
ugh.

Mine showed up this morning too! this is my first Man Machine.
I am really in love with this figure. I expected him to be smaller than he is. I thought he'd be microman size (around 10 cm) but he's about 17.5 cm from top to , ah-hem, bottom...
the GID inards were a cool plus too!

Much envy to those who got one. It's nuts, very Geiger-ish wish I could've gotten one. I think I'd display it with the armor off just to show them guts, the armor can stand on it's own.
