If Kaiju-Taro has a mailing list, then I guess I'm not on it. I'm registered for their site and everything. They do have blogs here:
http://www.kaiju-taro.com/kaiju-yaro/blog/
http://www.kaiju-taro.com/kaiju-yaro-JPN/blog/
This is the first Gargamel toy I've wanted for a year or so, and now it's sold out before I even knew it was on sale.
Waah waah waah waah waah. ;p

Super7 will have plenty of each of these. We have a ton coming. In fact, I would be very surprised if any of your pre-order places receive any stock at all. Even crazier is the fact that these toys are proto shots only, and have not even been finished being manufactured yet. These images were not even suppsed to be released, much less offered for pre-order, but everyone is jumping the gun hoping to get the "panic factor" to induce your buying dollar. Don't believe the hype or the type, get the information direct instead.

So when you say "plenty" that means more than 7?

awesome. I'm in love with this mini zag right now. I started to think chances of getting one at retail would be low.
the dragamel might be cool to pick up. I'd have to see more pics.

HI,
I try to keep grumble toy business separate from skullbrain 'cuz I know this is s7's spot. I love having an acct. here and don't want any bad blood. I sent the photos to my mailing list on the photo release date.
The photos I have had a date listed when they could be released to the public. I've talked with Gargamel and there isn't a problem releasing the photos, so I don't know why you would say that they shouldn't be available.
Re. "We have a ton coming. In fact, I would be very surprised if any of your pre-order places receive any stock at all"
Gargamel produces as many as are ordered by the stores on there distribution list. The fact that my little shop only ordered 15 won't cause me not to get my order.
re: ""panic factor" to induce your buying dollar. Don't believe the hype or the type, get the information direct instead."
I don't think asking a $10 deposit for a reserve list off my mailing list could be considered an attempt to drum up "panic factor" I'm also not marking up the products above the regular retail.
Once the reserve list was full I told the people asking not to worry 'cuz I was sure bigger stores (you) would be getting tons and it shouldn't be hard for them to get.
So, all that said. I love Skullbrain, Kaiju, Gargamel and I love running a toy store. I feel that this is a community where any extra people getting involved only make it better for everyone.
thanks,
Chris

Hey, I was at the S7 site checking out the new deathra...did Gargamel decide not to do the blue-to-green fade? That sucks....I really liked the green touch. I'm looking at the pics and I guess the lighter blue spray shows up green (yellow + blue = green), but I thought it was green paint sprayed over with blue to emphasize the green a bit more or something like that.
does anyone know for sure?

the deathra is the same as it was originally shown. the one i took a photo of just isnt that dramatic, they all vary a little bit. also, hiro, the man with the photo skills, has been out. Im all thumbs behind a camera.

Hope these releases fund some new sculpts. The large Drag can only go so far and while the mini Zag is nice, I'd almost rather see a painted clear Cumberlain with innards.
And yes, I know S7 is releasing a painted clear Cumberlain.
