There were a boatload of Triple Fighter toys including the very cool cyborg version. These are all by Bullmark.

I have a couple of the minis, but I really want that big cyborg triple fighter.

Did anyone get that set of triple fighter villains that came out recently? I bought them, but they're still sitting in Japan; wondering if they're as good as they look.

The scan is from The Japanese Heroes Sofubi Collection by I. Sato ISBN4-06-330065-X published in 1998. It is one of my favorite references. Shows a lot of things not in Yuji's book.

I have the Triple Fighter villains. To be honest, I was a little underwhelmed by them, but still like them. Not selling mine, just not 110 percent into them. I passed on the big Triple Fighter though I'll probably pick up a standard size one at some point.

Something quality wise or just aesthetics? How big was the new triple fighter supposed to be?

Triple Fighter was about 42cm tall.

Mmmm, not sure exactly why I'm not completely sold on them. Quality is good.
I think I need to track down a copy of Triple Fighter to put them in context with the show to really appreciate them.

Recently made from the lost original molds from the 1970s:

The reissues are actually very cool
I'll try to post some pics later of the new ones alongside some vintage.
The giant "talker" is most impressive.
