Who the heck is Mr. Sparkle1112??????????
The glow group up on yj went for 126.500!
The bee and skullbrain lot went for 105,00!
All won by sparkle.
Sparkle tried to win the balzac mantis lot but Citaya won it at 110,000!
How much fees would that be 341.500 yen!

That is something that I've been wondering about ever since I started exploring/buying from YJA! That person has sniped me on several occassions now.
Anybody?

This is my new problem with using YahooJP.
I'm never quick with the trigger, 90% of the time I learn about an auction here first. And now it seems like there is a massive influx of people stateside looking for SB.
I think gone are the days when you could get a Walder Skullbrain for 80 bucks on yahooJP. Except for those lucky quick fingerd "buy it now" folks.
And I'm willing to bet Knewnan could have gotten it if he really wanted it but it sounds like he only needed a few from the lot...

You can't really snipe on YJA. I believe that any bid under 10 minutes left in the auction resets the auction timer to 10 minutes. That's how i think it works anway.
But yeah, wow, deep pockets there - although they got a pretty ok deal on all of those Bee/Brains, about $30 a figure. The GID auction was pretty steep though, $150 plus figure, about right I'd say for a few of those figures but definitely too high for the two bees and maybe the two obakes as well. But that ghostfighter! Damn.
I did manage to win the Balzac lot, and I won the Toxic Phantom lot too , which I had waffled on for a bit, but decided to grab it in the end. They're my first Henshin type toys!

Congrats Lapin!
And good to know about the YahooJP auction clock, I like that. Snipping while a part of "the game" is about the most irritating thing that Bay has to offer.

i've never understood this sentiment. if you put in the maximum amount you want to pay, then why does it matter when somebody else puts their bid in? if it's higher, they win, and if not, you win.

Like I said its part of the game but it's irritating.
What wrong with the clock getting set back 10 minutes so others have a chance to re-bid? If you put in you highest bid at the last second and then the clock goes back and someone else bid over you isn't it the same thing?
Personally I think some people actually get a thrill from the act of snipping itself and that's fucked....

I agree. YJ's anti-sniping set up is a great system in my opinion.

I like eBay's system. It's geared toward buyers because it helps prevent bid wars. The YJA system is better for sellers.

I always assumed it was the guy who sells on ebay as CarlCarlson1000. I'm not positive, but I always assumed the dual Simpsons screen names was him buying on yja and selling on ebay.
I tried to bid on that huge 127 piece lot when it was up again last time and when he outbid me it was up to $2000.

Muton- yes got your pm and pm'd you back
Moriarchi- I'll work on trying to get a photo of the lot up, later tonight maybe I'll edit this post to put it up if I can. I worry that this may mean that I can no longer say "well I don't have any henshins so I won't buy this awesome Skull Toys/exohead/ whatevr stuff.

Yes.
I was like a god.

That is without doubt the GREATEST single SB suit auction in history! Unfortunately I do not own three of the suits in pic 1, and four in pic 2, and it took me two years and WAY more than this auction cost to get the 11 I do have. I am envious, but happy for you - this is a KILLER score, and in my humble opinion, the most desireable of all those auctions that went off last night!!!
The Toxic Phantom RULES!!!

Wow. I tend to stay away from 12" figures but these are really cool.
Fresh Meat question, did you just buy the suits and get the figures elsewhere?
Or because it was auction, they were sold together?
At retail are the suits and figures sold separately?

Normally the figures and the suits are sold seperately. Different companies make each basically.
The new all clear Skulltoys suit comes with a body though. This is good seeing as the Henshin bodies aren't easy to track down now.
