 RxH Chaos eyes
Can you get the eyes used in Chaos figures at hobby stores? I don't know much about dolly eyes... Kinda looking for a red cat eye.

Yeah, I've gotten some helpful PMs about that... I would never have come up with that as a solution without it having been suggested to me. Taxidermy isn't something I dwell on too frequently.

Last time this question came around people suggested doing a search on "doll eyes" on eBay. Out of curiosity I did that and lots of options popped up. I don't remember if the exact eyes that Mori uses were available but it's worth a shot.

Yup I go to a local shop. They sell nothing but eyes. Doll, taxidermy custom etc..
The acrylic eyes that Mori uses are common and are for dolls. They usually come with either a plastic of metal backing washer. The ones I grabbed didn't have them though except fro the clear ones.
I want to get some custom eyes made but the minimum order is 1000 eyes !!!
Here is a link:

They are local so if you need some help PM me and I will see what I can do. But don't get to happy, most of what you see online are no longer available . I REALLY want the rabbit eyes but they where LONG out.

I forget but I think either a 8MM or 10MM will fit.

Those are what I want in the worst way. I may end up just placing an order of the 1000 piece and selling the rest on ebay

Yup I would have to get eye crazy or just do shintosans
I want to do a chaos where all the lumps on top of his head are eyes , and that would use up a lot of them

The ones with the "pins"? So you just poke the eyes into the head!

Neither, just pushed in. The snug fit is what holds them in. if you get your finger nails behind it you can wiggle the eyes out. Or if you pop off the head you can just push it out from the inside. He must use a sharp punch first that is slightly smaller then the shaft of the eye and then.

This explains everything, I was always wondering how people did Chaos customs without getting paint on the eyes. I had no idea they were ones that you can just pop in, thought they were glued.

Are we talking about the animals to be taxidermed? (did I make up a word?)

or you could buy them here---

I've bought eyes like those from VanDyke's taxidermy online. They don't have the stems attached to the back the way the ones in the pic above do. just a flat back.
I used their product for this:

I would like to see a chaos with a human eye. Maybe flesh or some really slimey paint application.
