I'm down to hang out with some fellow board members...
There a ton of bars in that general area, LIT which is like 1.5 blocks down or Bull McCabes right around the corner on St. Marks. Anyone know the times for this...

this is a cool idea i guess but there is a problem i have
when it comes down to it, this is still just one figure. how many of you are going to change out the parts once you have one you like?
and it's still just the same SB figure

wow - very cool, but how to get the obake together???
guess u would need the extra arms for it,
but cant imagine when to put em in the body.
if u put arms in the body first u will hardly get the "cape"
over both.
but if u put the cape & mabe loose arms inside
over the body first how to attach the arms???

WOW! That is really a rool set!
There really isn't much that could make this set any cooler... but I envision set two as such:
All glow Skullwing and ghost fighter head, seperate body with skullbee, mantis, madball, and skullcow, and mantis arms and bee fighter arms!
Would this even work???
So, how do people not attending the event get to be lucky? Another brainphone perhaps? a secret pm to me and only me???
J.K!
Good luck to all!

It's ingenious marketing as the OCD (or completist) types will want to pick up five sets of these to assemble five different GID figures...

Calm down fella! . . . warm all the pieces up with a hairdryer first and the arms slide in without a problem!

I'm going to fly in for this one. I just got off the phone with Lev and he told me they are going to do it like the Rotofugi event in Chicago where they are going to hand out tickets starting at noon on the 29th, and have everyone come back and line up in numbered order 30 min. before the event. He wouldn't divulge how many sets they had (but hinted at around 60), but they are going to be one per person and some stuff coming with Balzac. He stated that on the 28th they would be doing another like they did before, with 1-7 p.m. in store and then open to phone orders from 7-9. He said they will not be taking phone orders for the sb sets, and anything left would be put up on the web the next day.
