I just got off the phone with Lev and he told me they are going to do it like the Rotofugi event in Chicago where they are going to hand out tickets starting at noon on the 29th, and have everyone come back and line up in numbered order 30 min. before the event. He wouldn't divulge how many sets they had (but hinted at around 60), but they are going to be one per person and he said there were two sb sets and some stuff coming with Balzac. He stated that on the 28th they would be doing another RxH deal (Mutant Evil) like they did before, with 1-6 p.m. in store and then open to phone orders from 7-9. He said they will not be taking phone orders for the sb sets, and anything left would be put up on the web the next day.
I think this means everyone not going is going to be hard up on these. Best of luck!

There were two SB sets? What does this mean?

there is only one GID set...the other release is balzac related...but not a baggie set...
Lev Prob. won't just give out much more than he did to ST on the phone...as all the info is basically out there in this thread...it may be better not to call nonstop, as I am on the "inside" so to speak and am always looking out for people on the board as much as I can...I will do what I can with this release...but the only official info is what has been posted already..
will post more info as I get it...or as I can make it happen with Lev...either way, this release is amazing...I haven't seen the other one yet, but it is NOT another version of this set..

I will find out the subtle details about tickets in the morning and post them here...but here's what I do know that was asked:
sets will be strictly one per person...not sure about the other releases...prob. one bat per person...but the set is def. limited to one per person...
the bat and the new obake sculpt are each sold as individual figures...so there's three releases for this event...

I am working on SB phoneline, but methinks it won't happen on this one...but I am gonna try...

alifeintoys wrote: wow - very cool, but how to get the obake together??? guess u would need the extra arms for it, but cant imagine when to put em in the body. if u put arms in the body first u will hardly get the "cape" over both. but if u put the cape & mabe loose arms inside over the body first how to attach the arms???
does it matter if it has arms inside? or even a head?... you wont be able to see em.
im SO psyched about this event!!! first of all the tour bats really kick ass on their own for multiple reasons, and im not a huge fan of the drip, but it looks SICK on these. very very excited. cant wait. the set is insane and looks like alot of fun.
are the bats going ot be one colorway per person, or one of each colorway per person? i want all 3
im gonna need a new cab after this month i think!

I'm sorry but that new Obake sculpt is just horrible.
It should be on the 'other ' forum.

I really liked it before, but I don't like this colourway on it.

The set was released today at SB. Great deal for a complete set of GIDs.
