 Mystery vintage kaiju
Hi Guys, I posted this in the Japanese toys section a few weeks ago but this seems to be more appropriate. Does anyone here know the name of this kaiju? The pic is from a YJ auction. I would love to know its name so I can hunt down any versions that may exist. A smaller version with translucent orbs with veins on its head was displayed at 1 of this Summer's festivals. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the pic, Jim. I like how your version has the red veins painted on the orbs. Do you know it's name? Also, what size is the one in your collection? Sorry to be a pest, I'm just haunted by this kaiju, especially after seeing it in Datadub's pics from SF 43.

Datadub, thanks again for posting links to your festival reports. Since many of us cannot be there, it's great to see what is being produced! Please continue to do this so isolated collectors like me can at least get a glimpse of some of the killer kaiju at these shows (not shoes ).

Thanks again, Jim. Now I have a starting point for the hunt. It's good to know that these are standard size vinyls as that is the size I typically collect.
That rock face kaiju with horns is very very cool. I saw one of those on eBay maybe a year or so ago with a Buy It Now option. I almost jumped but the broken horns stopped me. One of those situations we've all been where if you pass on a piece it may never pop up for sale again.
Thanks again so much for the pics and info. I absolutely love the Vintage Vinyl section of Skullbrain!

A HUGE thank you to Mike J for helping me track down and snag this Kirugisu Seijin from Silver Kamen. My first vintage standard size vinyl, has a potent smell and I suspect it may have been exposed to a few cigarettes. In any case, love the sculpt, and the paint is still in pretty good condition. Now do I start a new shelf and plunge into vintage vinyl or sneak him in somewhere in the non-smoking/fresh paint section?

Thank you. I don't know. I tend to chase different standard size bizarros. Mike at Club Tokyo sometimes nudges me towards vintage so I've been looking at the different Bullmarks on CT website and making a short list. The Mirrorman Bullmark kaiju seem to be catching my eye.

mirrorman kaiju would be an excellent choice . too bad some of my favorites are unobtainable . would love to have a taigon or big eye but i dont have the rock star bank account to afford them . however (IMO) one of the best standard size kaiju is quite affordable and thats kittyfire .
