have a few questions about Dokugans and would like to assemble a complete list of all made if possible.

First apperance: was this at Wonder Festival 2006? any earlier? prototypes?

Complete listing of all known Dokugans to date?

Would anybody who knows Fill in/correct any mistakes i may have made or listings with multiple names, please?

Yes, I believe first appearance was at 2006 Wonderfestival (Summer).

Some I notice that are missing:

Unpainted yellow
"Pumpkin Guts" (I have never seen one outside of the show pics, however.)
Unpainted clear green w/ red eye (from Wonderfestival 2007 (Summer))

I thiink the yellow chromatic version is the unpainted yellow you added on.

Funny, I thought the "Green" versions were all refs to maryjane. Blobpus digs green day? somehow not the band i would imagine the dokugans are into.

...and i couldn't figure out if the new years and chinese new years were the same, thanks for clearing that up

and so at SF40 he released 3 different dokugans - the clear orange, the pumpkin guts and one other - what was the color of the third?

Ok, there is also a Yolk ver. then, which is a yellow base with blue/silver/red spray and a blue eye.


Actually, I was wrong. I looked at the blog and it is Dokugan Green ver. Whoops! "Midori no Hi" is, I guess, the holiday for which it was created. Sort of like the Umi-gon Blobs.



The third was the companion piece to Crazy Thunder- orange base with yellow/green/black spray and a red eye.

That looks like a pretty complete list to me...

Yeah there was a pumpkin guts dokugan, but I think they only made a few...never saw one for sale.

The chrome silver dokugan was actually a prize you could win by buying the red chrome LK and blobpi set. I think it came with a card you sent in for a lottery.

i have the pushead issue. the dokugans hadn't been made when that was written. matter of fact, i think the last kaiju was just debuting when that came out. there should be a major new blobpus update article what with the new mook, don't you think?

does anyone own a gold one? i tried scanning yja when it came out, but never saw it and have only seen pics of it displayed at the show

I am also kicking myself for not bidding higher on the unpainted clear green from Wonderfestival. Strangely, that one was never even in the show photos.

Oh... ummm.... well, it's still a good issue to have.

it would be cool if each person or persons who are into that subject more than any other to take it upon themselves to create these lists....it would be an invaluable tool for lots of people all over the internet.

Maybe these could be stickied, too, so that we don't have to generate them once every few months. But that's up to the people in charge.

hmmmm, i was thinking maybe their own section....like, the reference section of the board in the library that is skullbrain.

y'know, with just one listing for each type or group of items to keep them uncluttered and no conversations per se, just additions of new items in each subject, generally added by whoever started that section, but not necessarily.

I recall hearing about the Midnightmas one, and possibly seeing a photo. Maybe someone else who remembers this one can chime in if my memory is incorrect.

Come on! More of you guys and gals out there have an obvious passion for this stuff. Take charge! Make a contribution to the Skull Brain Data Base of Kaiju for International Reference!!

I made a Skull Toys checklist a while ago. It's somewhat out of date right now, but I will update it and bump it soon.

I, too, think a checklist / reference section would be totally awesome.
