6 weeks is a bit too long for them not to pay you. It might be time to bring the hammer down...

30-40 days from what date...that's the big question. The second question is how much exactly are they going to pay you at that point. It looks like a great place to work but if they keep dicking you around, you might want to find another place of employment. Let's face it, 2 months of working and not getting compesation is too much to ask of anyone...and should never even be the case to begin with.

I guess I'm just a little bitter right now because the strategy guide for the game I'm testing on just got back from the printers and I got no credit for everything I turned in. So....I'm trying to help other people in hopes that I won't be so pissed off anymore.
mmmm.....corn nuts....do they have some of the lovely flavors like adobo?

I'd start bringing an aluminum baseball bat to work with you... take a few practice swings somewhere in close proximity to the toy case... put the bat down... stretch a bit... get some coffee... repeat as needed.

Id sent you a virtual vegan care package but that won't help...
(yeah I made that)
I would just tell the SOB to give you a 10 spot, that should go for a while... even as vegan I have done that for a week on miso soup, rice and a couple bags of frozen veggies
Sucks man, make some demands

that looks delicious.
last night i rooted through my cupboard and found a box of dehydrated soy chicken breasts, some brown rice, a packet of mushroom sauce and some vegetable broth.
so i cooked the rice up in the veggie stock, reconstituted the soy chicken breasts and then dredged them in a mixture of water/corn starch/egg replacer and then through some flour/garlic powder and other spices then i fried the fuckers. made the mushroom sauce and i had a bag of TJs frozen veggies that i steamed up. i ate like a king after my white rice lunch.
