 My Zag mini's
I'm trying to be a completist. What can I say? I'm on crack.
Are there only two more to go (Blue Balls & Glow unpaint) or am I mistaken?

Cool pic! I still want that clear one with the insert.
In another thread, someone mentioned that the mini Zagorans have had two different molds. Do you have examples of this?

Look at the three standing in the front row, and then look at the rest. I hope that clarifies it.
...or are we talking about different molds that I have no idea about?

Hell of a nice mini Zag collection! Now sell me the ones I don't have! I think you are correct, those are the only ones you are missing. I have the regular clear, but no guts. I am missing the Hawaii and flesh w/blue and yellow on belly. Nice micros as well!

If you look closely at my pic you can see that there is a very subtle size difference (some are slightly smaller) between some of the mini's. That's really the only difference I've been able to pick up on.

Some days I love the clear with inserts most, some days it's the painted black, but most days it's the classic Hawaiian colorway.

DYBBUKIM was the one who originally mentioned this. From the other thread: DYBBUKIM wrote: Actually, there are four sizes of Gargamel Zags: Fullsize mini (old design) mini (new design - and smaller than the old design) and mini mini (keychain size) I'm guessing that the three in the front (with the arms in) are the "mini minis" or the "pocket kaiju" ones. Maybe it's a misunderstanding? Maybe he's referring to the upper bodies that are designed for the tank and plane?

I know that sometimes differences exist with vinyl toys based on the "master mold" (which tend to be larger) as opposed to molds that were made later on. I confess I don't understand the differences fully, but perhaps that's what happened here.
I was also told recently that the process used to make clear toys is sometimes detrimental to the molds and can possibly damage them. Maybe some of Gargamel's succumbed to this and they had to recreate them.
Thanks for clearing that up.

Thanks! I guess if I wanted to be a SUPER completist there would be four I don't have:
Blue Balls custom contest mini
Glow unpainted mini
Max Toy Co clear Red WITH insert mini
Clear WITHOUT insert
Those are the ones I know of that I don't have. I try not to think about the clear red without inserts and the clear with inserts for the sake of my own sanity...but if anyone has either of those two for sale please Pm me.

Thanks Slack! Is that DJ Jesus or just the reflection of a light mounted in my Detolf?
And not to sideline my own thread, but has anyone been watching 'Lucy, Daughter of the Devil' on Cartoon Network? Fuck that show kills me.

Focusing in on the mini Zag's has made me appreciate large quantities of mini's even more. As I was putting these together I found myself passing on more and more large figs and buying more and more mini's. I like having multiple colorways of a small sculpt displayed all together.
And 10 ain't nothing to sneeze at. Be patient and keep your eyes peeled, I'm sure you can track them down...
