That's considerate, but in these days when hardly anyone is still on dial-up, is it still such a concern? Playdohpunk recently posted what I think is the most image-laden thread I've ever seen here, and while it did take an extra second or two to load, it wasn't anything annoying in my experience ("high speed" DSL.) Just a thought.

Maybe we should move this discussion to another thread, but I am having a hard time swallowing the arguments being put forward when there is no complaint for people just posting stuff like "doh" or "yeah" or "[place your favorite generic response here]".

This is the internet. There is "unlimited" bandwidth. If the admins want to establish some kind of rule about what kinds of posts have to be grouped into what kind of "clumps", I will follow it.

But, until then, I am confused why I shouldn't post whatever pics in whatever posts I want. And I don't think this is being "selfish". To me, it just makes sense.

Some pics = good . . . too many pics = bad! . . . Is this not the same discussion that took place 12 months ago . . . . :?

Well it comes across more as spamming than showing us a custom you really enjoy, Taro.

You have some great stuff too, the multiple threads distract me and its harder to enjoy a piece (some of which are incredible).

Thats just my opinion its not intended as an attack. I haven't got an axe to grind with you.

Edit: I meant "threads" not posts.

So the left hand of a toy needs to be in a different thread to the right leg of the same toy??

It was one of Geo's pics that convinced me to get my first gargamel toy so I'm grateful for that, but the forums move slow and it's easy for the front page to get filled up with similar topics. I think if you picked the 10 best photos each month and made a thread of those it would be easier for people to ignore them if they choose to.

Man,Side By Side just lay waste to Alone In A Crowd. I had to break out both ep's and without a doubt SXS win hands down. Jules has that anger in his voice in SXS that,in my opinion, does not show on AIAC.

As for picking Civ over both,to each his own. I'll pick Wishful Thinking over all of them. These guys were an unknown SxE band from the Boston area and released 1 7" called "Rise To Surprise" on Community Chest Records limited t0 600(300 on black wax,300 on red wax).....an absolute RAGER!!!

I just picked CIV because that song "trust" is about jules. as are countless other songs. the only other person from NYHC who has more songs about him probably cappo.

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU KNOW THESE GUYS! hometown heroes. they are actually from western mass not boston but it seems any band from mass always gets labeled as a "boston band". i actually went over the guitar players house last year to get copies of all the old locals hxc/punk bands cassettes he had to mp3 and relive my youth. he had already converted all the wishful thinking to mp3 for me demo, 7" and TONS of unreleased tracks. kudos to you for knowing them.

back to hating on people...
