so totally black that I had no idea why they were called "Gold Mist"

some old guy had some creative license obviously. i quite like it!

The goldmist Shinto also had two different vinyls it was painted on - IIRC there were some painted on neon-green vinyl and some on black.

I like that the heaviness of the "gold" application varies from figure to figure. Individually, they all look great from what I've seen. (I only have Mutant Evil and Shintosan in "gold mist" but have seen others in person.) I know I was confused for awhile as my Shinto is so heavily bronzed that you don't see the black at all, but ... why not? I"ve never seen another like it, so it's kinda cool that way. I know consistency is generally considered a virtue though.

I love the way sculpted monkey fur feels when rendered in vinyl. I can't wait to hold one of these.

I just saw the figure and it is a nice one. It is red vinyl and he stands taller than the regular sized RxH figure but he's not Shintosan sized. I'd say he's a little shorter than a Pharoan and pretty beefy. If he were real, I think the Bear Club would have him on the top of their list (in case you're wondering what the Bear Club is....it kinda goes along with the bandana thread buried in the forum somewhere).

I just picked this guy up and... WOW!!! I LOVE THIS FIGURE!!! I think it rivals chaos...

The feel of the culpt is Ichibabn bkosi and Shinto san.all RxH but a tad huger than to date in the 3 head high meta series . Will actually retail for 200- yen more than any other regular RxH had in japan - can' say say how this will effecty our markups. bu tin japan its still a a steal at 4000yen.
