This shows the back of him. Oh and they have no problem standing at all.

The Orange reminds me of a cross between two older ones:

Thanks for the comparison shots. Seeing how high the arms go I get even more of a Damnedron vibe from them. Have you checked what's under the sheet yet?

I looked the best I could without removing it. It looks like the same usual bug figure.

Getting the sheet off is way less of a I FART A LOT then getting the sheet back on. You'll need a hairdryer in both cases.

Kinda torn! . . . if it's the shape of Obakes to come I guess it'll be a grower the more colourways get released, but I still gotta catch up on a bunch of OG Obakes. I only started digging 'em about 2-3 months back!

I actually like the new Obake a bit more after seeing it next to the older ones rather than the standalone photos. Not completely onboard about it, but it's a it more interesting. Brings some variety to a lineup of older Obakes.

The dopey face on the older obakes always put me off, I like the screaming look on the new one.

i still don't love it but i dislike it less next to the older sculpt. it put's it in context as "new" but still has traits that keep it in the secret base family visually. i still think these two colorways are a bit weak considering they were the first and should have kicked everyones ass right out of the gate.

Alot of times, I see, what I consider, weak colourways on the initial releases from many companies. Almost like they figure people will buy a new sculpt with whatever is painted on it, cause it's new.

Then later, to keep sales/momentum going, they bring out the killer paints.

I was excited to see the grey proto of this fig, but after seeing these production ones i'm a little less thrilled. The new sheet just doent look as interesting like the older one. I looks a liitle generic, but i'm thinkning the new design may make it easier to pull the sheet off and on the fig which is great cuz as much as i love the old one, it was a I FART A LOT to pull that sheet off and on the fig!! I'm gonna wait to see how the new obake looks in person b4 i pass on it.

Someone cut out the knew aggressive mouth, have the face peaking through, like the angry pissed off ghost just ate the figure inside and that would be pretty cool. That or do the same thing in like a clear so it looks like the angry pissed off ghost has taken control of the guy and is now projecting out through him.

Looking at the figure again it does look a bit more like transition of the ghost from somber to angry rather than from east to west.

Same eyes and the mouth just looks like its open now. The patch looking like a comic book bubble that should say BLAM! or POW! also seems to go with it.

To me it looked like a cobweb on the right hand which seemed to give it a Western Halloween feel to it.
