Were older 400% Bearbricks Soft Vinyl or do I have a bootleg
?
I have the older 400% Halloween (orange) bearbrick and its soft vinyl, it gives like a vinyl toy, its definitely not hard plastic, and the face mold seems a bit "fatter"
I always just figured this was an older toy & they hadn't begun using the harder plastics yet.
Does anyone have any idea: it was made in 2002.

the original 400% kubes & bears were soft vinyl. They warped and fell over like crazy. My To-fu's were always falling over. After a while they wised up and started making them out of harder plastic.

yes..the first set of solid color 400% Kubricks where toal cheap assed softer vinyl, as was the Halloween dude. then they went to ABSZ with the ratchet joints.
some of the 100% bears and kubs had softer grade abs hands for a while as well.

and the body for the first 400% evirob was soft black vinyl, making it impossible to display the figure, as it wont even begin to hold up the big heavy abs head piece.

That Halloween 400% is one of my favorites. Do you have the matching 100% & 50% set Missy? They look great displayed together!
