This thread is cracking me up.
Without different subcategories this board would be a mess.
You have your own 'type' of rules/or requests.. albeit.."pay california tax..start a thread list, do it like this" etc. And also have said..check out more info in the "such and such thread."
So you actually do this stuff.
BUT the minute someone inadvertently posts something in the wrong forum and someone..not rudely..points out that there is a separate forum for stuff..you chime in with the hippo police thing.
It's just bizarre. I don't get it.

I worked on a project with the guy who wrote the first 13 or so episodes of the first ever season of Law and Order, David Black. Cool New York guy who got all his dialog from hanging on subways, at crime scenes, and in court houses.

sales tax= the law, must be done (Understandable for the real x heads and things that but when it's from a personal collection that someone is reselling I just never new the law applied.)
correcting peoples grammar, yelling at noobs, incessant negative criticism of everything = HIPPO POLICE (totally understandable)
Regardless of the past history you and HMS have (and I don't even know the extent)..if you just read the original response there is a whole forum dedicated to showing collections. please make your request there. and to me it didn't seem that harsh at all.
Anyway..I actually do love Law and Order..And just found out Vincent D''s character is based on sherlock holmes which makes sense.

Funny you say that. He used to always I FART A LOT about how all the other cop shows used to steal the shit that he came up with like the whole "frying coffee beans at a murder scene to repel the odor," which he claims the police really do.

If your a legitimate business in California all business sales at retail you must charge sales tax. I do not have a 'personal collection'. Everything I do financially is through my business, accounted for and all proper taxes paid, inventory totalled at end of year, laws followed. If you have a resale license, I do not have to charge you sales tax.
Even if you have a garage sale, you are suppossed to charge sales tax and all of that. That is the law. it sucks, but it is the law. I am super uptight about keeping the taxes and records for my self and my business 100% accurate and reported. correcting peoples grammar, yelling at noobs, incessant negative criticism of everything = HIPPO POLICE (totally understandable)
