i saw something like that on youtube or something.. real people.. and it looked like it was filmed in the UK or somewhere becuase they were driving on the wrong (ok there i said it) side of the road

Yep - new episode dealing with a reality show where Marge goes to live with Gervais' family and he falls for her. Basically an animated version of the Boob he played on the Office - which BTW - if you haven't watched? Do! Funny stuff.
The opening was the same English version that has been all over the net for a little while - youtube, Ifilms, etc........

yep. i saw something on the news about the commercial clip they played, saying that it was actually professionally shot and was made by fox as an advertisement for the uk.

There were some slight differences with the Fox version shown last night.
The honking scene with Marge and Maggie was reversed so Marge was in the left hand drivers side.(Like we have here in the states)
And the part where Homer is running out of the garage his butt crack was fuzzed out.

It isn't as funny, but it is fun.
the ricky podcast is amazing.
I am a giant fan of gervais and his crew.

Ahh yes his podcasts are hilarous. He comes across better when hes doing ad-libbed stuff on the radio etc.
His stand-up is all scripted and looks forced.

the stand up is forced, but I think that is just for a check. Same with his FLANIMALS thing. just for that check I bet.
