I think the spray on the body is metallic. Check Toybot's blog for better photos of the S7 x Cronic exclusive.

if either one were painted clear, it would have been a different decision for me. I agree, the Asu and Baku were awesome. i'm gonna have to do some kit bashing myself and bust out some weapons from my SD Gundams....lol

Naoki has done lots of really cool stuff with Zyurai and Bakurasu recently. Nice to see him in a solid creative groove just as his stuff is reaching more and more folks!

Bummed I wasn't able to score any of the customs, but that's the way the cards fall. Guess I need to do more for the Cronic collecting scene to earn some good karma.

;)

Andy, you are doing more for the Cronic karma than anyone I know. Your blog kicked my butt into gear for getting more sculpts from Cronic and I'm glad I did. I'm sure the Cronic gods will shine on you for your good efforts. I still want to see a shot of all of your Cronic figures.

Not the biggest Cronic fan - but the Waldar tribute Mav's are awesome - especially the Plantman colorway. The Dukuro King colorway is probably the general fave, but that colorway is getting overused IMO...altho in this case it would be sacriledge to not do all three.

So yeah - those three are rulin'

Thanks 1M for all the pics! I've valiantly resisted the Cronic virus so far, but these new pieces aren't makin' it easy ...

+1 to the comment that he does seem to be hitting a strong creative stride, and just as his popularity is on the upswing - that's a potent mix.

Has anyone translated any of the art's text? I'm particularly curious to know what the text underneath the crucifixion scene says (the 4th art closeup among playdoh's pics).
