Anyone on here play or know much about the original arcade game?

Got an original version but something is messed up on it, either my chipboard or monitor not sure, think I will get it fixed for Xmas and all repainted and do some metal plate around the buttons and joystick. Maybe fight inspired blood splattered side panels.

I also am a Ryu player, I leave Guile for the turtles. I'm not turtley enough for the turtle club, turtle turtle.

Ummmm either or.

It was kind of a general whatever rant.

I'm pretty sure nobody is going to be able to help me out on how to fix a jamma board on a blog. :D

Just seeing if anyone on here was about SF2 now like it was still in every 7-11.
Maybe to justify if its worth fixing or I should spend the money on toys.

Street fighter will always be a big part of my life- capcom are the greatest character designers of all time IMO.

I am a Ken player- better with kicks, and later on an Akuma player, lay prism killer on fools like its nothing.

I use to have jammer arcade cab running cps2 and neo geo, aswell as a few random old skool jammers, but I had to sell it when I was strapped for cash one time. Ive now got a sega net city cab running a naomi system with MvC2- which really is all you ever need.

Funnily enough I actually got a GP2X toady, had it on pre-order for a couple of months. This is some serious shit- the business for running mame and emulators- much cheaper than buying rare jammer boards.

If you dont know what a GP2X is- check it out, it will change your life!

What I do really want to get inot is M.U.G.E.N- but Im a mac guy and cant run it.

And that, my friends, is the story so far.

Yeah, another former arcade hardware guy here too...plus SFII was a big part of my youth.

If you really enjoy tinkering I guess you could monkey around with the board to see what's wrong...could just be something loose, or maybe a bad dip switch setting? But I would just pull the board and buy another...they're cheap. Also Ken up, Ryu down.

m.u.g.e.n is pretty sick but its pretty random. i remember my bro had it installed on his pc but i never got around to try it out. then one day i went to my friends shop and saw that he had it on his modded xbox. he had so many characters that were just insane. i think the best character i used was evil sagat. that dude was cheap haha. it got pretty boring after a while though since the ai on it kind of sucked.

street fighter will always be awesome. i cant wait for Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix for the xbox 360. ive only seen crappy video clips of it but it looks awesome with all the new graphics. i cant wait to go online and kick some ass

Not sure if you've seen the trailer for Street Fighter 4 but I'm pretty excited.

Nothing will ever beat SF2 and SF3, but here's to hoping :)

Whats a dip switch?!

I know nothing of electronics.

Ken is good if you aren't using throws but on mine ryu has about 2/1 priority on throws if you are both going for them, like after a missed hurricane kick. We realized this around 5,000 hours of playing.
