See, now when I see instances like this, I'm compelled to believe that this is a set up of some kind. It's as if they create a pumped up sale to draw out the other owners of the same figure so they can attempt to buy them at lower (below more realistic) prices, as ebay will probably be flooded with more of these in the next 48 hours.
I'm just sorta suspicious in that kinda way...

Meanwhile they cruise the boards in lurker mode to gauge reactions?

I wonder if this one will sell for as much:
http://cgi.ebay.com/KAWS-ORIGINAL-FAKE- ... dZViewItem
will the location (canada) turn people off?

I didn't bother to read the description but this sounds strange:
Item relisted because the last auction has been cancelled (ebay says there is a problem with the winner's account) so here we go again!
What could ebay say about a winner's account??
You win, you paypal (or whatever) and that's it.

Well, it is fishy that most the ramping up on the price were made by accounts with zero or three feedback points.

I'm kinda glad the black is starting to get some love but maybe this is too much love. IMHO the black is even better than the OG.

the whole vinyl scene, for lack of a better term, is so small I would not be surprised if there were people trying to manipulate the market... this just seems like bs
