Anybody figured out anything about who "Clap Monsters" (Crap Monsters?) is yet?
New company? Or sub-unit/side-project of one of the existing companies? I have done a fairly thorough search on the internet and came up empty.

Yeah the tail and the fins on the back.
I still prefer the Gargamel Zag with the clean lines and the first Hukkokudo Zagora is a runner up. I like messy, chunky, crude but I look to the Bemons and Longnecks for that.

I'm thinking the Clap Monsters may be exclusive only to Rotofugi, as the Chicago wind blows.....

I was told that they were a new company that had just gotten there monster ready just before the Rotofugi show. They contacted them at the last moment and got it in.
I was told that they would be doing Japanese version later... don't know how accurate that info is though.

the pics of the new colorway don't do justice to the metallic blue down the sides of these guys. Remind me of big fishing lures. I'm hooked. (sorry)

(sorry) Yeah, it is hard to tell how nice these guys are from pictures. Some figures are just that way. You have to actually hold them, out of the bag, to fully appreciate them. I like my version 1 very much.
