 MF Grimm (Jet Jaguar) on NPR Driving last night I heard MF Grimm on Fresh Air. I know there's a couple fans of Doom/Grimm, Monsta Island Czars.
Gotta say, never expected to hear Grimm on NPR.

I really like Grimm's stuff.
Got most of the early stuff...Kool G Rap's 4,5,6, / Early Dolo & Fondle'Em records stuff / Ep on Brick / Special Herbs & Spices / Monsta Island ect.
Haven't checked the last few albums. Latest album is on an Aussie label from my home town Brisbane. Gotta grab a copy though.

Grimm and Doom are separate. Grimm is Percey Carey and Doom is Daniel Dumile I believe. Doom is on Monsta Island Czars and special herbs and the rest is Grimm. That's my understanding at least.
Anyway, him being on NPR is definitely exciting. Thanks for the notice.

Grimm on Fresh Air is totally weird and unexpected, indeed.
I gotta listen to this.
Do they discuss what the hell's up with Doom, at all?
My sister was at one of his no-show gigs this summer; at that one, they said he was "in the hospital, fighting for his life".

I haven't heard Grimm's new triple album - it's been a while since I followed what's going on in rap, I was surprised that it's out! But I'm gonna have to track it down.
Grimm's a good guy - helped me out when an on-line record shop was giving me the run-around on one of his albums I purchased.
