 thanks, skullbrain
since this is a "compliments" section, i'd like to say thank you to the people here. i've gotten some amazing, very hard to find pieces here at very realistic prices. the anti-flipper policies and no bullshit sales are outstanding.
though sarcastic, every single person here has been nothing but helpful. sorry for being a transplant of the dreaded "other" board, but its been nothing but great.
thanks for everyones help in completing a lot of my collections and starting entirely brand new ones (like Matangos!)
skullbrain is what the internet and toy selling/buying should be.

I wholeheartedly agree - in the short time i've been here i've picked up a lot of information and also a few pieces at extremely favorable prices. The sarcasm thing is quite funny IMO - i'm thick skinned enough not to be offended by it but it makes a refreshing change from the whinging hand wringing posts that 'the other board' seems to suffer from in droves.

Coming from KR is not a problem in itself. The majority of us came from there. It is simply how you conduct yourself on here, if you act like mr manimal you will get grief.
glad you like it here.

What Parka said, a lot of us were KRids once.

I was never on KR but I'm still very new here. Most of the people here are fucking as cool as the other side of the pillow. Having said that sometimes you have to take the good with the bad.
Overall, thanks Skullbrain for a place to nerd out and not get made fun of(now if only any Japanese hardcore fanatics come out and contact me!).

I guess if I came from anywhere, it was the punk rock message board where skylar and I met...but I haven't posted there in 4 years now.
He showed me SB so That's my roundabout origin story.

enjoipanda it's good to see you here; I've enjoyed your posts. As others have said many came to this board from KR so that in itself is nothing to apologize for. The criticisms are about the nonsense on that board and the feeling that Japanese vinyl is cooler than the KR stuff, which is true.

I hung around KR for a few months and then discovered this board one night while researching Secret Base. Needless to say I haven't looked back.

I love the kaiju-bashing at the KR board. It's amusingly ignorant.

brutal! Sorry to hear you were scammed on KR. If they spent more time banning shady people instead of people who didn't agree with their point of view maybe their board would still have some sense of community.
In the end KR and the KR staff don't give a shit about toy collectors so I guess this is the most likely endgame.
welcome to SB

I remember a couple of years ago, all wet behind the ears going into a KR store and asking if they had more kaiju seeing a couple of SBs in there. You would've thought I insulted the entire staff. This is even before I was redirected to skullbrain by Parka and Frshness.
