 How would people feel......
if all of the original colorways that are going for these insane prices were re-released in larger numbers so that everyone could get them, or at least try? Would people be happy or would all the people that have them be bummed out?

As long as there was at least one small detail that showed a second edition I would be stoked. It would be like book editions
The original versions would still be worth what they are and the second would allow for all of us to get a chance at getting that 1figure that they may never own.

Reissues are lame IMO....if RXH or Gargamel or Secret Base ect. cant do as good a job or better now or in the future as they have done in the past with color schemes and sculpts....its time to close shop because creativity and ideas are Dead
Large #'s are for more mainstream shit like Dummies...to dump a ton of stuff on this tiny scene will be its Death
Look at the Undead Bat(Rules!) ...too many people dont want it unless they cant get it LOL! If there were 15 of em ...even the naysayers would want it bad LOL!
If these small companies dont sell out ...it wont take long till they are gone
Like Punk Rock 45's if they dont sell...its fkn crap digital CD's only ...I still hate CD's especially "digitally remastered" bullshit.

Great points.
Though I'd like a crack at some older ones for good prices, these are good points. Same w/ the recent Roto-Chaos, 100 made and a load have been tossed up for sale recently.
We've actually had this discussion here. Again, some re-issues I'd get of course (and would prefer them to slightly differ) but as eldorado points out, the future is full of great NEW color ways, so just look forward to that and we don't want these companies dying due to not selling out of their stock.

personally, i think the energy would be better spent making new colorways and new characters, rather than relying on the hype of old hard to get releases. mori has so many cool ideas for new stuff, it would be a bummer to see him spending his time re-hashing toys that have already come and gone.
that said, i cant honestly say i wouldnt pick up a couple if they came back around. but i mostly hope they dont.

I just remember when rumble monsters decided to reissue the pharoas and damn. Look where they are now. It's gonna hurt a lot of collectors.

If you mean the guy to the right in the pic with the large Hammer arms we are all still waiting to find out. Other then that - center is a proto Bigaro and an early Rasta Evil to the left.

I forgot all about those. Mori was going to produce henshin style interchageable arm attachments. I still think that would be VERY cool - imagine blister packs with a few of these on them? That would be amazing.
The baby HEAD are very cool as well.
Hey - I'd be up for re-issues, marked as such. Maybe just a select few classic colorways, like fan favorites voted for by...errr... the fans? Some of teh early colorways are so rad, and despite what people say, some of them have never been bettered.
I'd vote for teh colorway Lash mentioned, or the clear purple w/spray Evil or maybe teh Pop Soda Head. All unobtainable classics.

I don't know about "new kaiju" but I sure am grateful for reissues of old Bullmark toys.
