A-mazing, Robert!
How about a profile shot? I think I see a little bent tip/winglet on the head crests ...
I may just have to get the full set ... but I agree that a black with blue eyes would be strong ...

The set is cool. What I like about the GID is the purple touches, great look.
No clear planned. Although I did have the factory do an unpainted clear test shot to see if the bubble factor would be something I could live with.
I dunno what I could do with it right now. It's kinda complicated but alot of the ideas I had for it is kinda difficult to do with the way the figure is and how it has to be assembled at the factory.

The fin on the red one does look a bit bowed from the front but it's fixed now with a lil hot water/re-align/cold water treatment. Here's the profile shot you requested. As for the black there was a colorway I did on paper called "assault weapon".

These are looking great, Robert!
The colorways are so assorted and rockin across the board - there has to be one for everyone. The lines look crisp and the look on his face/eyes is priceless. so much detail allover the sculpt!
Really looking forward to seeing this one on peoples shelves! Nice work!!

Thanks! I did like 30 diff colorways on paper and it gradually got narrowed down to 10. It was really tough to pick just five cause we where working under the assumption that this was the first and last wave. Hopefully we get to do another colorway or two.

Yeah, wow... I can't sing a song of praise that hasn't already been sung, but holy shit! Fair play to you!
Not much of a robot man, but I have eagerly been watching your progression with this and I cannot wait to have one of these in my collection.
And the set if I can stretch it.
Truly stunning!
Black & purple wouldn't go amiss.

Yup finally got a hold of Olly from VA and he was kind enough to showcase my bot.
A bit of bad news folks. The extra run of specially marked GIDs are a no go. The factory wants too much cash to do it. Something about a new set up fee for the pad printing an other stuff. Plus I have to order a run of at least 100 pcs min and all I wanted was half that. Hopefully we get to do a second wave and include a diff glowie next time.
As it stands now. Price $55.00 US each (regular colorways) $265.00 US for the set which includes the 4 regular colorways plus the special GID ver.
The factory actually gave me some more shitty news. Thier quote was off so my cost was raised. Typical and not surprised as I have seen this happen often when I worked in the industry. But I'm sticking with the price point I initially gave out for this wave.

Too bad about the extra GID runs. I think the factory should be responsible for the extra costs and not u. It's like a restaurant u for more $$ after u've already paid. The deal should be closed prior to production and not after.

Shit man I WISH it worked like that. Whatcha gonna do tho? They usually spring shit like this on ya when it's near drop time when they know they got you by the short and curlys. Thing tho is we already made provisions for this. It's times like this when I'm REALLY glad I worked in the toy industry. Experience is gooooooolld!!

I know but it just looks bad on their end. There are certain ways around this but then again it depends on the situation. Well at least u were well prepared. Good luck and can't wait to see the goods!

mikeee; yeah, I must say tho that on the quote they had a discalimer about it. I was just hoping that shoe wouldn't drop and it did.
Gilly; Thanks, It had its downs but thankfully the ups outnumber it. I'd gladly go through it again if the piece comes out like this everytime.
Baikin; I hope you do. Not sure how many designers are doing my kind of bot but I know I'm gonna be adding to this line. I already have at least five diff designs, two of which is next in line if all goes well with the Combat-R Zero.
