Biskup always keeps a few.....some make it to friends.....some get dropped as surprises at SDCC or other venues.....etc.

Wonder if I'll actually get a full size Virus Drag. Hard to believe they still have them.

Thanks for the link.

Would that put it in the category as the Virus Pollard?

Fairly certain Slack is right; the museum does say they are "hand painted" though.

Probably mean factory hand painted, there's like no chance these are Biskup hand paints.

I'm waiting to get an out of stock email anyway since there's supposedly only 25 of these.

I gotta admit, this release has left me kinda phased!

Full size Drags . . . I have the silver dude, the pale blue and the SDCC dark blue . . . a few months back I was needing some $$$ and thought about offloading 'em, but guys were having trouble selling 'em on the BST at $60 a pop . . . I sold something else and was happy when the red dragon got released and revived my interest and really brought some contrast and variation into the set/series.

Now an über limited version gets released (not handpainted and not significantly better or worse than the earlier 4) and suddenly EVERYBODY wants one! :?

eBay has the surreal scenario of the original GID mini Drag listed at $35 and the Virus mini GID listed at $350 (with neither selling!)

Is it just everyone buying into all the bullshit hype, looking to flip/appreciate in value, digging the aesthetic, confusing it with a handpaint . . . just curious . . . what's the deal and why the sudden Drag love?

I love dragamel, i was even one of those impatient suckers that bought one for waaaaay too much in the begining but to be honest, i dont like the dark blu or red one, i love the original light blue and mini, and the min glow and now the virus! I wish the mini virus wasnt 100 though  But this fig is awesome, but not all colors are awesome, just like all figs. The virus is just an awesome color, just like how ppl are crazy for walders, i think~

I'm pretty surprised too, I think the mini is my favorite Biskup toy. His stuff has always been kind of kind of weak on the aftermarket though, which is good for collectors.

i just wish the eyes of the virus pollard were red in the middle like all the other toys. think it'd be sacrilege to have someone paint the eyes red on that rare of an item? think it'd be neat to have them all match.

I have the Virus Pollard and the full size Virus Drag is something that just seems to fit with it. Plus they're both GID and I like the Virus paint scheme.
