it's Brentwood, the people that put out the Ultraman sets. I thought those were pretty decent.

Maybe not the best of the genre, Im just really glad someone is releasing these and at a nice price, Im tired of looking at VCD copies of Fireman, Daitetsujin 17 and Ultraseven.

I have a few other bootleg vcd like Diamond Eyes, but my fave has to be Tetsujin 17, Fireman gets 2nd

In fact I would argue its one of the better, it sits up there with the older Masked Rider series.

Don't get me wrong - I like the show. By 'bad' I am talking things like the corny transformation sequence, the corny plots, the kaiju costumes that were probably cannabalized from a previous episode, etc. (One of my favorite scenes is Black Horse running & the head of the costume is starting to flop over.) Since I did not use emoticons to convey my intent in the first place I will use them now:

Just got this yesterday and watched a few episodes. It is very nice. Good quality and has a fantastic booklet with way too much info by August Ragone. The best news is they say that Super Robot: Red Baron and Silver Kamen are coming soon!

I went to pick one up at Best Buy and no one could find it even though it said they had 4 in stock. They even called the Best Buy 20 miles away (yeah Id drive for it) said they had 5 in stock and no one could actually physically find it in the store. Sucks, and its the perfect mindless mental candy for the Thanksgiving holiday!

Yep...just picked this up as well. Good quality, fun show, well worth the money! Can't wait for more releases...it's kind of surreal going into a us chain store and walking out with these shows.
