Post How many pearl Chaos figures?
I know of the red, black, and pink versions... are there any others? I would assume that there will eventually be a pearl green one since there was a green pearl Mad Barbarian RxH figure.

I'm not sure what makes it a "pearl" version. I think maybe the unpainted blue roto version might be a pearl version too.

A pearl version is the kind of vinyl that RxH used with the pearl additives integrated into the vinyl (not applied as an external paint application). It's pretty clear from looking at them whether it's pearly or not.

I'm kinda curious what the pearl additives would look like in a clear vinly application.

I find the look of the pearl additive to be very visually appealing to me. :D

That was a bubble Chaos I believe. The vinyl had tiny bubbles in it but it was not pearl vinyl. It was released but super low numbers.

That was a long time ago. These were not released at the Expo.

And I have that unpaint green Akro and the matching Bat - neither are pearl. I need the matching Head and Chaos! (I do have a spare of the painted version of the green Head - guess it could be my first foray into the joys of RxH x acetone.)

I saw the unpaint-dark-green Chaos and Head in one of Glenn's pics - were all 4 of those released in roughly equal numbers (as far as we know) and at the same time? I feel like the Akro and Bat were around on the market for a while, but I never saw the Chaos or Head FS anywhere. Is/was there also a matching Bigaro?

I wish those unpaint Jinjas would be released - I remember those pics were what got me fired up about this sculpt in the first place.

The GID "M -Joe" and Ninja were part of the Pearl series. They seem to be a bit more hefty for lack of a better word - vinyl seems a little thicker and they glow like nothing else.

Isn't the Red Shinto ALSO Pearl since we're branching out of pearl Chaos and into other pearls?

the pearl finish was basically 'debuted' at the R x H expo in June. So all pearl releases are from the latter half of this year.
