think blobpus really looks great, inserts very cool,
but clear with inserts already seen on gogas, zagorans, cronics...
something more creative and fresh would be way cooler in the dust
of so many releases these days.

I found this pic on Kaiju Taro's flickr:
Looks like blobpus had it on display at hobby complex. I love how they displayed the guts on a doll stand. I might have to buy 2 sets so I can display mine like this.

I love the illustrations on the flyer. Reminds me of those old dissected kaiju figure boxes.
I hope these are to hard to find.

They could do a lot with that detachable arm.

Yeah, that would so cool.
Maybe the toy companies will finally hear this and start producing alternate addons next year. Exohead had extras. RxH had rumors about doing some. The new Longneck kinda plays with it.

Although I love 'visible innards,' the whole 'add some guts' gimmick is wearing a little thin for me. I think RxH is the only fight figure maker left who has not really experimented with these yet.
On the other hand, these are really well done- on par with EXO's Grodnoid, and I think they are a long-overdue addition for Blobpus. And I like the way the clear Blob shows off the guts. Very clean.
All in all, I'm not sure that I can justify the purchase on the guts alone, especially because the price point may be bumped up as a result. If the Blob had been done in a 'visible man' style with half-spray, that would seal the deal. For now, I'm undecided.

while the guts idea has been done before, this is by far the most elaborate form-fitting insert I've seen yet. who cares if it's becoming a trend as long as it looks as good as this? seriously, if anybody cared too much about who did what first, then you'd all have to throw out most of your art, film, and record collections.

Really? It never gets old for me. In fact, this will be my first Blobpus just CAUSE it has guts. Guts are the reason I buy some toys I generally wouldn't otherwise. But I've gota thing for innards anyway.

some paint on the sculpt would be nice.
maybe something on the arms - they look naked.
I do like the idea of half-spray, invisible man style.

This will be my first non-Kaijin Blobpus toy in quite some time (and the only non-Kaijin I will own).

Can we just buy the guts insert? That's all I really want.
I just don't want to pay for the clear Blob.
