I think it's stupid regardless of one's disposable wealth or love of RxH. As I've probably said too frequently, for that sum you can buy a one-of-a-kind work of art that will be more certain to appreciate in value, made of possibly more durable materials. Oh well, love is blind.

The case of someone having too much $ and very little patience. Wait a bit and you will find it for ALLOT less(much like the $2k HSP pirate from a while back).

it's stupid because it's the first one to show up. why not wait and see what it's "worth" after a couple come out?

worth of rxh is relative to how deep people's pockets are anyway...

The paint is completely boring unlike some of the other ones. I have a greenish one with spray and payed a fraction of that price for it.

But if you watch these auctions, there are people willing to pay 60,000 yen BIN for some figures. Blind stupidity, all of it, in my opinion.

more like curses on the seller....

if you were lucky enough to win it,,,blatantly flipping it is the biggest asshole thing to do....a big smack-in-the-face to the maker & collectors...

if you didn't want it,,,you should not fill out a lottery ticket,,,unless you have one$$$$thing$$$on$$$your$$$$mind..........

this is a bad trend right now...Mori is the real deal artwise thank god...but these flippers are causing major trouble with a bunch of releases...

this is exactly why I wanted TT to get as many of their RxH figs in SB hands...and I haven't seen many of those come up...S7 has a great network to do it as well...it's a hard thing to do I guess...

but $500 for what is essentially a mini?

crap...

Yeah I actually didn't think of that. Usually when I see high-bidding I blame the buyer for being a moron, but this DID just get out there as a prize. Douche Central on both fronts.

i never knew these were prizes. if i had known, i wouldnt have bid what i did... despite the fact that i dont think it would have made much difference in the outcome

so are all of these out there lottery figures?

it is not really a trend, it has always been this way with RxH, the prices are just getting higher.

I'm not sure what to think about this price. This isn't just speculating, how much could the price really go up from here? I do know a lot of people here have been cheering this kinda thing on for awhile now. So I guess we get what we deserve.

I think Mori needs to stop the making the uber limited shit and see what happens.

the Soda Q rules ...the Green is nice too......Pogue and Data got the new one...is it safe to assume there are more than 10 total out there then ?

Id pay 150 LOL!

Id like to see a Blood Red metallic Q in a larger/standard run.

It is always fair to assume there are more than the announced run size if it is a super small run. Mori at least keeps one for himself.
