Hey, I was too tired to put fingers to keyboard on this before - but VTN was a lot of fun because of the people I got to see (LASK, Jack VinylPulse, Bwana, SecretBase baby, Ian, Steve-o(!),Bob, Richard WW, Jeff Pidgeon, Coop and various freaks surrounding teh CP booth) and a couple of great bargains (400% GID Pushead Bearbrick $60 form Kozik!). Lots of Western vinyl of course, but other stuff to see as well.
One downer was the fcat that twice within the space of 5 minutes I was referred to as a F A G, and by creative people who post on thsi board. WTF? How does anyone in this day and age who isn't a complete redneck think that it's cool to use that as a putdown? I'm sure no one here would use a racial epithet in teh same way, so why throw the F word around?
So, apart form that little downer, we had a good time and the day ended at a rather excellent local museum exhibit - Beyond Ultraman - at the Pasadena Museum of Contemporary art ... more about that later.

It irks me bacuase it's using gay as a put down, y'know what I mean? But I guess as long as the administration doesn't recognise equal rights why should cool-ass toy dudes....(I'm being sarcastic)
