Thanks Chuck.
That's an older version of Guron by Butanohana. It comes in red as well and I'm not sure if there are other versions or not?

Thanks for not bidding against me Rhino. I know you're a big Fever fan too.
Ya, I finally sealed up the M1 Matango collection and this is by far the nicest of the lot so it was a great way to end the search.

Really?! I need to see a group shot so I can figure out which ones I'm missing.

Here's an old image - add to this the unpainted green, Beam GID and the painted lucky bag -
FWI - the one on the bottom row far left is a test paint so I think there are 12 production releases of this figure.
I was hoping to get the whole gang out for a photo shoot outside before the snow came but was waiting on the lucky bag to arrive. Too late now!

Tim,
Who's the maroon guy in back?
He came in several different colours, yes?
I picked up one of the leaf men for cheap but he wasn't complete with the sword so I need to get creative.
Is the painted Lucky bag Matango orange based?
Why do I have one that's primarily orange with other paint? hmm.

The Maroon guy is from Spectreman. This is a CPP figure. I think they were supposed to be released in a series of GID versions too but I've never seen them. This is also a change bank. There is a slot in the back of the head but it's uncut. You can also pop the legs off to empty your "Red Pepper Piggy bank".
Nice score on the Leaf man. I love this figure.
The lucky bag painted Matango is painted yellow vinyl. For the love of God please don't tell me about other versions! I've seen a painted orange Marmit Matango but not an M1? (Please pm me images )

Truly. Look at those colors go! Most under-appreciated fight figure, ever.

I've seen a few different Marmit versions over the last few months. Maybe somebody more in the know could chime in on these? Were they lucky bag releases or something? I've seen an painted orange, painted blue with mini and another version - painted green(?) as well.

Maybe it is Marmit and not M1... gotta remember to take a look tonight.
Could have sworn it was the same sculpt but I may be wrong.

So these are in addition to the variants which are shown on clubtokyo? I really want, no... need to see a picture of these.
An orange matango sounds real cool.

You can sleep tonight Tim. hahahahha. I can't keep things straight.
I have 3-4 of the M1GO sculpts and forgot that the orange one is Marmit. While the Marmit sculpt isn't as strong, in my opinion, as the M1, the painted orange made me snap it up.
For those who are wondering, the Marmit is a bit more primitive or simpler, no eyes, but still cool. The orange made a great choice for that sculpt with the metallic highlights unlike some of the other drabber colourways, dark green or blue.

I had never seen them before and that's why I think they may have been a lucky bag release or something? Both the painted orange and blue versions were somewhat similar to the Pink(Irasawa) version in terms of paint style. I've searched through old links etc. but no longer have any images. If I do come across anything again I'll be sure to let you know. atease wrote: lucky cambodia gets to hang out with that bemon! nice to see him right at home with those excellent toys! great stuff! congrats again on the matango score!
Thanks Ed! I'm loving the Cambodia. The colour is stunning.

Thank God! Thanks for the clarification.
Post a quick picture of your orange Marmit Matango if you feel up to it. I'd love to see it again too. That was a great pick-up.
